Just as they did in 1925, the Rockettes continue to delight audiences with their optical illusion of cookie-cutter girls dancing in sync. Being chosen to be a Rockette is a feat in itself. Never mind being able to do eye-high kicks, dancers have to be proficient in jazz, tap, ballet, modern dance and also possess vocal talents. Mix all that in with a pretty face and palpable stage energy, and you begin to understand the stringent requirements.

There's nothing more spectacular than Christmas in New York. City sidewalks, busy sidewalks dressed in holiday style.
In the air there's a feeling of Christmas. Children laughing, people passing meeting smile after smile, and on every street corner you hear silver bells.

Okay. Forgive me. I've borrowed song lyrics to describe that special Manhattan Christmas feeling that can only be expressed by song.

An absolute cornerstone of that NYC holiday is the Radio City Christmas show. I've seen it every year since I was 4, and now I make sure I take my kids and grandkids to carry on the tradition.
